Who we are

RMG MOTORS & BODY REPAIRS LIMITED (company number 16600324), registered office 14-15 Southernhay West, Exeter, England, EX1 1PL, workshop at Unit 6, Bittern Road, Sowton Industrial Estate, Exeter, EX2 7LW, is the controller of your data.

What we collect

When you book work, request a recovery quote, send a message or apply for a fleet account we collect your name, phone number, email address (if you give one), vehicle registration and vehicle details, and whatever you tell us about the work needed.

For recovery quotes we store the pickup and drop-off postcodes and the routed distance, so the price you were shown can be reproduced later.

Why we use it

To book your work in, to contact you about it, and to keep a record of what has been done to your vehicle. The lawful basis is performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in keeping accurate records.

We only send MOT reminders if you tick the box. You can stop them at any time using the link in the message.

Who we share it with

Booking details pass to our internal workshop system, which holds our job records. We check vehicle details with the DVLA using your registration. We send email through an email service provider. We do not sell your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

Job records and invoices are kept for six years to meet accounting obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and object to processing. Contact us at 07828 309910.
